To make a purchase, you will need the Klarna app. Once in the app, search for ‘Sephora’ and
select “In-store”. Next, create a one-time Digital card to use for the purchase that
day. Complete the purchase by adding the Digital card to their Apple or Google wallet.
If using Apple Pay you can pay with the following steps:
- For Face ID, double-click the side button, and glance at the screen, then hold iPhone near the reader.
- For Touch ID, hold your iPhone near the reader with your finger on Touch ID.
- For Apple Watch, double-click the side button and hold Apple Watch up to the reader.
If using Google Pay, pay with the following steps:
- Wake up & unlock your phone. Turn on your phone screen, and then unlock your phone.
- Hold the back of your phone close to the payment reader for a few seconds. When you're done paying, a blue checkmark will appear on the screen. If prompted, follow the instructions on the screen.
What if I get a decline message when trying to create a Digital card in the Klarna app?
There’s a number of reasons why a transaction may be declined. In these circumstances, please contact Klarna using the chat function within the app or call Klarna at 1300 000 190.
What if my Digital card doesn’t work at the register and they created the card just before trying
to use it?
There is normally a short delay of less than 30 seconds between creating a card and it being ready to use at a card terminal. If it doesn’t work right away, give it a few seconds before trying again.
